Experienced Counsellors for Children & Young People
Come and join our committed, dynamic and professional team as an experienced children and young people counsellor starting on/before January 2024
We have funding to offer free 1-1 bereavement and generic counselling to children and young people struggling to cope with day to day life.
THIS IS A UNIQUE SERVICE IN OUR LOCALITY and OUR WORK HAS NEVER BEEN MORE NEEDED
We are looking for qualified and experienced children and young people counsellors/play therapists to help us to deliver this work. Counsellors will need to be a fully registered member of the BACP, hold an advanced DBS and have extensive knowledge and understanding of safeguarding ch/yp.
Daytime and evening work is available for 6+ hours per week
Current rate £18-£25 per hour depending on your experience and specialism
HBBS provide a comprehensive package including excellent operational and clinical support, counsellors are paid to attend peer supervision, all team meetings, admin, paid contribution towards 1-1 supervision and we offer free in-house cpd and relevant safeguarding training.
