FUNDRAISING

Fundraising ideas – these can be big or small, as every gift can help transform lives. Help us to make a difference by giving your time, skills, resources or money. Our services support both young people and adults in Brentwood, Havering as well as many other local towns. Help to raise our profile locally and raise funds for the local charity.

You could hold a coffee morning by inviting your friends or colleagues to support a local cause. Staff or volunteers from HBBS Counselling would attend your event to share information about the service should you wish.

Run or walk on behalf of HBBS Counselling at local Half Marathon or Fun Run events.

Consider nominating us as your Charity of the Year. Perhaps you are a small business owner and your customers could be asked to make a donation when paying for your services.

What difference would your donations make…………

  • A donation of £5 would cover stationery supplies for people undertaking art and craft activities as part in their counselling sessions.

  • A donation of £10 would cover a suitable storybook for child or young person to support them in their time of need.

  • A donation of £55 would cover the cost of an individual counselling session with an appropriately qualified children’s counsellor for a young person who needs support.

  • A donation of £100 could cover the cost of immediate crisis support to people you might employ or work with after a sudden event.

  • A donation of £300 would cover an individual counselling programme for a recently bereaved child.

Fundraising from work

Ask your employer to set up a payroll which is a cost effective way for individuals who are paid through PAYE to give to their favourite local cause.  There are lots of ways you and your staff can get involved in fundraising for HBBS Counselling. We can help to identify a cause that fits with your business ethos.
