TIME TO TALK DAY 2026

You may be aware that on the 5 of February 2026 it is “Time to Talk” awareness day. The day aims to be the nation’s biggest mental health conversation and is described as a “day for us all to come together, talk, listen and change lives”.


Our Clinical Lead at HBBS, Alison Staff, says “When we start to talk about how we feel, emotions become less overwhelming, less upsetting and in time, less scary.”


Ther

e are a few ways you can take part on the day or during the week:

  • Text or call a friend to find out how they are doing

  • Go for a walk and talk with a neighbour

  • Host a lunch and learn at work

  • Have a cup of tea with a colleague
