HBBS QUIZ NIGHT GETS TOP MARKS!

An evening of trivia has raised more than £800 to support young people who need emotional support through counselling after losing a loved one.

The HBBS Counselling Quiz Night took place at St John’s Church Hall, Mountnessing on May 18 was a very busy event.

The funds raised will be used to support #4ME, a programme to support children coping with bereavement.

HBBS - a registered charity - is funded entirely by grants, public donations and an annual programme of events.

On July 5th, 2019 HBBS is hosting a dinner at Ingatestone Hall to celebrate its 30th anniversary, ticket details will be announced very soon.

Katy O’Keefe, Events & Fundraising Officer at HBBS, said: “We’re absolutely delighted with the support we received for the quiz and it was a brilliant night, thank you to everyone who attended.

“We now turn our attentions to the big dinner in July and we cannot wait to reveal more details, it’s going to be an incredible and emotional night.”

In the last financial year HBBS delivered 3,033 individual counselling sessions to adults and young people for bereavement and other mental health issues.
